Transavia's new seasonal April-October Amsterdam-Alghero route

Transavia has launched its new rute from Amsterdam to Alghero, becoming the first airline to operate the route between the Dutch capital and the airport in north-west Sardinia. 

Also new flights to Paris from Alghero

The seasonal service will run until 23 October, operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The partnership with Transavia France will be further strengthened with the launch of the direct service to Paris, operating from 18 April to 24 October, consolidating the carrier’s presence at Alghero Airport.

“The direct service to Amsterdam is one of the many new developments for 2026,- said Silvio Pippobello, CEO of Sogeaal, the company managing the Sardinian airport. -This new route, together with the connection to Paris, demonstrates Transavia’s confidence in the potential of the north-western Sardinia market and marks the start of a strategic partnership aimed at the growth of international traffic. Our commitment is to continue expanding the airport’s network towards international markets with great potential and to pursue the project of deseasonalization by consolidating partnerships with carriers that can help achieve these objectives.”

An international gateway for northern Sardinia

With the new flights to Amsterdam and the strengthening of routes to France, Alghero Airport thus aims to consolidate its role as an international gateway for northern Sardinia, as part of a strategy aimed at increasing tourist flows, deseasonalizing demand and boosting the local economy.
